What is AquaWrap® and How Does It Work?

AquaWrap® is a water-activated composite repair system designed to reinforce and restore mechanical systems, pipelines, and structures. Supplied pre-impregnated with proprietary urethane resin, it activates with water for quick, odorless, and non-flammable application — ready to use right out of the bag. Once cured, it forms a durable, high-strength composite that bonds permanently to metals, concrete, plastics, and wood.

How Does AquaWrap® Ensure Long-Term Strength and Compliance?

Built with E-glass or carbon fabrics and a proprietary urethane resin system, AquaWrap® delivers excellent long-term toughness and meets the ASME PCC-2 composite piping reinforcement standard. It ships resin-wetted and sealed for field readiness, offering reliable performance under demanding industrial conditions.

Why Use AquaWrap® for Submerged Pipeline Repair?

  • AquaWrap® provides fast, permanent, and cost-effective restoration without the need for shutdowns or dry environments.

    • Engineered for wet or submerged applications

    • Odorless, non-flammable, and easy to apply

    • High chemical, fuel, and corrosion resistance

    • Compatible with varied materials and shapes

    • Meets ASME PCC-2 composite reinforcement standards
